I’m very glad to see you here again, my readers!

Today, I want to analyze my success during this course. That is why, I need to answer some questions and count the amount of points.

 Total amount is  72

From my point of view, it is really perfect and amazing result. In fact, it means that I've improved my public speaking skills and did a great job to become a better speaker. With the help of new information, that was performed by my groupmates and by my teacher, was essential for me as for the future teacher. Of course, not only their praise helped me, but also their remarks. However, despite of my high score, I believe that I will work harder, make a progress, and do my best to be a wonderful speaker.

I'm glad to see everyone here. Today, I want to tell you about the seventh challenge in this term. It calls "To ask for a change in the shop". To begin with, that I have done it, but, actually, it was not' the change in the shop. Well, I want to start telling the story gradually. As usual in my stories, there is somebody else. My friend Dina and I decided to drink a cup of coffee in a beautiful place. Dina said that there was a wonderful place in the center and we went there. The coffee house was really a cute place. A table was small and looked like an ancient one. There were comfortable armchairs, gently cancelled lamps on these tables. I have ordered a cup of coffee with halva (this is a paste of nuts with oil and sugar). This is the beginning of my challenge. When my coffee was ready, I tasted it and there was not any sign that there was halva. I was embarrassed because I gave a lot of money for this coffee, and I am a student that is why I don’t have much money.

I decided to call a waiter, a waiter called manager, a manager called barista. There was a circle of calling. Barista asked me to make another drink and I refused and asked to a waiter do not pay for the coffee.

 In my opinion, I completed the challenge. We are on the right way.

Hello, my readers, I hope, you had a great weekend.
 Today I want to tell you about the sixth challenge. 
To tell you the truth, I was very impressed by my groupmate's courage. She told us that she had a challenge in her list, it was called as "To sign a song in public place". Can you imagine, that she really did it! It was very strange, funny and  fearlessly. This story didn't come out from my head and I also decided to try this challenge.
 One day, my friend and I were walking near our University. I told him that I want to sign a song. He answered "If you want, you can do it". I explained that it should be loud. The gaze of my friend was strange and he didn't understand me. Then I stopped in the middle of the street and started signing. My friend laughed at me and started signing too. He didn't understand that I should do it alone. In spite of the fact, that it was my challenge, my freiend helped me to finish it. 

“Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring” this quote make me think about maybe the most important thing – being yourself.

I want to tell you a story.

Well, I live in the hostel and, you know, there are a lot people there, all of them are different. Everyone has its own habits, peculiarities, strangeness and  behavior. In these conditions, you have to live and learn how to communicate with different people. However, it is very important to fell the boarders between politeness and indulgence of somebody’s desire. You shouldn’t  be afraid of saying that you really don’t like, you should not agree with the majority if you have another opinion. In other case, people will think that all is well, you agree to live as they want and they never know about your point of view.

who you are and say what you feel makes you brave, strong, independent, and  what is more interesting person.

 ( I’ve noticed  that many people do that and then they complained to their friends or parents that they don’t like the conditions where they live. Besides, when I was a first year student I was the way as some of these people.  )

Why we should be yourself.  Now I want to give you some reasons

1.    When you are able to have a solid foundation of being you, you are establishing your own sense of identity. No matter what happens in your life, you will always know who you are. There will be times where you may feel lost or distracted, but if you have your own identity you will be able to get back on the right path and not lose yourself

2.    You know what values and beliefs you have

When you are not yourself, you will take on the values and beliefs of others. This is when you start conforming to other people’s expectations and way of thinking. When you know your values and why you do what you do, you will live according to your own values and beliefs

3.    Build courage. It takes a great amount of courage when you decide to take the path that goes against the crowd. The reason why the majority of people take the broad path is because it’s easy. It’s easy to just follow the crowd. It’s more of a challenge when you stay true to yourself and establish your own identity.

4.    When you stay true to who you are, you are more likely to know the goals you want to accomplish and how to go about accomplishing them.  (achieve )You are able to stay focused and know which direction to take in order for you to accomplish your goals.

Actually, not being yourself is like a disease.  This case even has a name in medicine. It calls – depersonalization.

What is it? It’s a kind of panic attack. Depersonalization seems to occur when you have become less involved with what's going on around you, especially the people around you, (and become preoccupied with your own thoughts. These are typically not thoughts about your immediate surroundings, but thoughts of other people, times and places. The less energy and attention you bring to your immediate circumstances, the more your thoughts wander toward ideas that can only happen in your imagination.) 

 To avoid this disease and consequences of not being yourself you just should:

·        Firstly, understand that your mistakes are part of your learning. There is no right way to do anything. Just look at yur past as an adventurous biography

·        Secondly, don’t compare yourself to others because you are not them

·        Thirdly, accept your weaknesses as your features

·        What is more, stand up for what you belive even ots unpopular it will also your feature which can help you to show your individuality

·        Moreover, surround you people who want you to be successful

·        Finally, express your emotions in a creative way

In my conclusion I would like to say, being myself is something you have to choose every day. It is not just in your attitude — it is in every decision you make. It is in every look you give, every word you utter, every step you walk.

Every time I wake up, I have to choose be myself over and over again.

We do not remember days, we remember moments.

 I want to start my challenge story from this utterance, because a few days ago I had a very funny experience, that didn’t come out from my head. Now, I want to share this story with you.

Two days ago, it was a Tuesday, me and my friend went shopping in the well-known in Russia, or may be just in Novosibirsk, supermarket which is called «Lenta». There is such a share, when you  bought the products and the amount of paymenet is more than one thousand rubles you get a figure from the famous film «Harry Potter». My friend is fon of collecting different things and he was really overjoyed amout thus share and that he can collect all characters from his favourite film. To tell you the truth, he has collected almost all figures, but actually, the more you have the more difficult it becames to get the right character. After our shopping my friend was upset because the cashier have him the figures that he already has. At that moment I remembered about challenge and it seems to me that it was a splendid opportunity to do the task and to fresh my friend up. I decadied to came to the stranger who bought a lot of products and got three figures from the «Harry Potter». I told him «Im very sorry but can I ask you, do you need this figures». The young man smiled and gave all of them to me. An what was really shocked me, that the young lady who was standing near, to the next cash gave me her figures too.

I was really happy, because my friend took some new characters and added them to his wonderful collection.  

Sometimes it is more pleasant to give than get.  The most I can do for my friend is simply be his friend, and, of course, sometimes don’t be afraid of other people or their opinion, all of us have some strange features.

Today I’m ready to send the tasks. I watched five videos. It was useful as well for the improvement of listening skills, as for my outlook. I figured out the thesis of the statement in each performance and determined methods that speakers used to make their introductory more interesting.

The first speaker is a science journalist and he was speaking about surviving on the planet. Outbreaks in nature don’t end well 
And it doesn’t matter which way of thinking about it you are going to choose. There are many technologies in our modern society, we can use it to guide our future. But are we actually doing this, are we thinking about long-prosperities and how can we achieve it with the help of new inventions? The answer is, we shouldn’t be divided into imaginary groups, we just should work together to have many paths to success and possibilities. In this case we will be amazing, we can safe not only a humankind but all other recourses that we need.

The second speech was very alive and emotional the orator have chosen the method of asking questions which were rhetorical and make people think about their values.
You should open and look at the window of possibilities, never give up and be upset. After some fails you are still alive, just go back to the ring and stay there even after you take a few hits, use what you learned from those previous fights and at the end of each round, you’ll remain still standing

I really like the third performance; it was very honest and perfect. I think that orator used the most dangerous way to give the information. In my opinion, it was making a startling statement. However, I was involved to the speech all the time, it was really interesting for me. The main thought that I figured out is that most of adults know why children drop out a study, they know why kids don’t learn and it’s not unexpected thing. Despite of different reforms, it’s still very hard to teach and understand pupils
Besides, no one think about The value and importance of Hyman connection. By the way, no significant learning can occur without a significant relationship. From my point of view, this is the main thesis.

The speaker used quotatins in hes speech.  He was speaking about golden circle. Every person on the planet know WHAT they do, some know how they do it, but very few people or organizations know why they do it. It means that these people or organizations know about your reasons, your beliefs and your purpose. The goal isn’t to do business with everybody who needs what you have, that’s why some companies are leaders, that’s why some companies are lost. It’s very

important to understand what others people need, especially, if you are producing new products for people. You should inspire them to buy your product.

Here are a talk of young model, she was had been working a Model during 10 years. As I see it, she uses one of the methods of attention- getter, it’s telling a story about her work, about her feeling and sincere emotions
The main idea of her story is that looks aren’t everything, image is powerful, but it’s not your spirit, it’s just your appearance that you can change with the help of make up artists and stylists
I gave this speaker 3 point, it seems we to be that she was honest and open to the audience.
